Your Canine’s ‘Home Away from Home’
The boarding kennels at the Society are among the finest available in the western United States. We provide our dogs with individual indoor/outdoor runs (single runs are 4' x 20'; double runs are 8' x 20'), heated concrete floors or forced-air heating and skylights for natural indoor lighting. Each kennel is sanitized and disinfected daily by trained staff.
We provide a dry food or will prepare a special diet upon request and will gladly administer any necessary medications at no additional charge (however, we are not able to give injectable medications). We cannot accept blankets, beds, toys, rawhide products or chew bones but we will gladly supply your dog with a NHS blanket upon request. Please bring an emergency contact phone number with you when you come in to board.
Note: If your Veterinarian serves as your “Emergency Contact” number, you will be required to leave a credit card on file prior to boarding.
Your dog’s vaccinations must be current prior to boarding; we require veterinary proof of the following:
- DHPPC (distemper, hepatitis, parainfluenza, parvo and corona)
- Bordatella (kennel cough)
- Rabies
Be sure to check with your veterinarian to make sure these are current before you come in to board!
We are open for drop-off and pick-up from 10 am to 4:30 pm seven days a week. You will be charged for the day you bring your pet in, regardless of check-in time. You will not be charged for the last day if you pick up your dog before 12 pm (noon).
If someone other than you or your immediate family will be picking up your dog, we will need written authorization to that effect from you at the time of drop-off.
Reservations are required. For further information or to make a reservation,
